The public is welcome to come and view our adoptable cats and dogs. Volunteers are welcome to come and help out during the Office and Kennel hours. If you are missing a cat or a dog please call and leave one voicemail with your pet's description, your name, and phone number at 637-6955 and someone will call you back. Thanks!
Please note although staff is in the building twice a day for animal care, Adoptions and Owner Relinquishments are only available on Office Days. Our apologies for any inconvenience.
Driving Directions:
Our new shelter is located a half-mile north of downtown Viroqua, behind the fairgrounds and just a block north of the Wild West Days grounds. Go east from the intersection of U.S. Highway 14 and County Highway BB, and turn south on Nelson Parkway. The yellow shelter building is on the west side of the street. Look for the sign.
