Be a Volunteer and Feel the Love.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at VCHS. To start, please call the shelter at 608-637-6955 to get an application mailed to you that you later return OR stop by the shelter at 1150 Nelson Parkway, Viroqua, WI, and fill out a volunteer application form. We ask all volunteers to attend a quick volunteer orientation prior to volunteering. Our youth volunteers under the age of 18 must attend orientation with a legal guardian/parent. Youth volunteers 16 and older may then volunteer without supervision. Those under 16 must volunteer with their guardian or a responsible adult volunteer partner.
Orientations are held a few times per per month and registration is needed. Each orientation last between 30-60 minutes based on the size of the group. Please call our office or stop in to reserve a seat at the next orientation!
